HYBRID COMMUNICATION

A communications network that uses a combination of line facilities, i.e., trunks, loops, or links, some of which use only analog or quasi-analog signals and some of which use only digital signals. The most common example of a hybrid UCC setup is a cloud-based unified communications service that is connected to a specific piece of hardware on premise.
